My work is focused on macroecology and conservation biology of island arthropods. I have worked with pollinators and their interactions with endemic island plants, as well as the role of microhabitat patches in agricultural landscapes. In the last few years I have changed my focus to study mostly island spiders, with a specific focus on how their vertical microhabitat in native forests affects their establishment, diversity and conservation on oceanic islands.
