Eduardo Jiménez García
Eduardo Jiménez García is a biologist and predoctoral researcher with interests in the study of the ecology and evolution of arthropods, especially Coleoptera. He studied the Bachelor’s Degree in Biology (2013-2017; Universidad Rey Juan Carlos) and the Master’s Degree in “Biodiversidad en Áreas Tropicales y su Conservación (2017-2019; Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo – CSIC). He is in the last year of his doctoral thesis (2019-2024), funded with an FPU contract (2019-2023) at the IPNA-CSIC and focused on the evolutionary and ecological study of the arthropod communities of canarian laurel forest and Euphorbia shrublands. He is currently contracted by the General Foundation of the ULL (2024-2025) for the inventory of arthropods in the Teide National Park.
