Amanhuy Duque Hernández

(BSc Biology, 2020; MSc in Island Biodiversity and Conservation, 2022) is an early-career biologist with a growing background in terrestrial arthropod research and conservation. He has worked as a field and laboratory technician for the Fundación Canaria General de la Universidad de La Laguna, focusing on the sampling and identification of arthropods in insular ecosystems. His professional experience also includes science communication and environmental education, particularly through collaborations with the Canary Islands Coastal Action Group. His interests lie at the intersection of biodiversity conservation, insular ecology, and public engagement with science.
